I asked my CA and he said he has no way of knowing when my car gets released other than when it shows up on the truck....

Johny where are you picking up your car from? An NJ or NY dealer?

hilton: Mine got there on 9/26. I've about had it with waiting. My dealer initially told me I would have it by October 1st. 2 weeks later, I'll now believe it when I see it. For all I know, my car was one of the ones that the EPA drove, and they put it in the bottom of the ocean in the port of Brunswick.

Nobody seems to know--but I keep getting put on these 2 day notices(last week they told me monday or tuesday, then on wednesday I heard thursday or friday. I saw my dealer sunday and he again told me monday or tuesday). I still don't have a car, and have no status update. Hopefully I'll have it by this weekend, but I guess we'll see.

Just got a call that my car is being transported and I will have it by this Friday at the latest. All I can say is that I'm very excited, and it's about friggin time.

Still nothing from my dealer. The car got to port Tuesday afternoon, so it's been just over a week. Pretty frustrating.

Nothing for me either...this is getting a bit ridiculous...it's not BMWs fault, but the EPAs...for being idiots...nothing has changed from the previous model year...let our Ms GO!

The backlog must be breaking at least in certain areas. My M3 arrived at the Brunswick port Monday. It has been released today for shipping and should be at the dealers Saturday.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad new, but my car was released and invoice to the dealer last Thursday. That means nothing. The dealer gets notified when the car is on the truck and on it's way, and that's when you know it's on it's way. Sorry

Where is your dealer in GA? Mine is supposed to be delivered Friday or Saturday to the Savannah, GA dealer. We may be on same truck.

im guessing the 2010 models have only just been released thats why they are all arriving at this time.

any one got any idea what the waiting list would be? i was at audi in march and they wanted 16-20 weeks for a S3, i couldnt do it
that was 16-20 weeks of construction and build time, which most audis were that high. hope BMW is not the same

My car arrived at port 7 weeks after the order was placed. Getting it out of port is a whole other story.

I am so jealous. 10 days and counting since my car arrived at port. It's getting cold too, i may not even have time to drive it on the summers.

Initial dealer estimate was 10/15. Arrived at port 10/12. Dealer now saying by the end of the month... Hope they are wrong, or underpromising like Scotty on Star Trek.

It sounds like we should be seeing pics of a number of 2010s next week. Hopefully mine will be one of them.
