How frequently do you drive (or reach) high speeds?

I do have a need for speed, and love hearing the V8 roar as it goes through the last bits of the rev range. Typically i hit high speeds quite often when redlining 3rd,4th or 5th (only did couple times in 6th never in 7th).

With that said, i noticed that i hit 100mph (~160kph) quite frequently with 120 (~200kph) weekly or once in every other week, and 140-150 (~240kph) like once a month. Owning the same ride for the past 13 years, but i notice that my frequency of speeding started increasing

How do you guys drive?

50% over here is an immediate roadside suspension for racing.
It's so easy to speed in these cars, I keep it under that but normally no more than 15% over.

I don't daily the car so don't have that many opportunities to get that high, but thats not to say I haven't. On the drive home from picking the car up I did hit 120 a couple times, just stretching it out a bit. Nothing higher than that, though it would easily do more.

Now, my Mini hits triple digits on a daily, lol!

I keep my triples for the track these days, it's amazing that the more I do HPDE, the less I push on the street.

That being said, it's good to have regular WOT for S65 engine health, just within reasonable conditions.

This x 2. Revving her up within reasonable conditions is one thing, but once I started racing and tracking many years ago, and realized how much less margin there is speeding on public roads with so many poor drivers, pedestrians, bikers, pets, deer, cops, etc. out there, my road speeds came down.

Just not worth the risk most of the time.
