Canceled my order!

Well fellas, due partly to economic downturn I feel we are in and will be in a while, sadly I canceled my order last week.

Anyone have a low mile 05-06 with competition package they are going to be selling soon or trading in? PM me if you have one

Sorry to hear that. Being in Houston though, has the economy actually affected you yet? Or are you just being careful?
I also canceled but that's because I kept getting the run around on production dates from my dealer. I'm close on a deal for a used M5 as a replacement.

Just being cautious. The financial solvency isn't the problem and I am not being pulled in by the downturn, I just don't expect the markets to keep making me the money I have made the last few years and feel less desire to spend money that will be harder to replace with investments in the short term future

Yeah, I agree. There are also some who should be worried (and aren't) and shouldn't be buying the car (and are) and it is unfortunate situati9on during an economic downturn. It is just amazing to me how many 911s, M6s, etc there are for sale in south florida and socal, two of the areas hit hardest by this housing downturn. People overextend themselves and wham, you are in trouble!

thats too bad, but ultimately your the only one who can make this decision and if you feel its a smart one then it is...stick around...maybe things will turn around (fingers crossed) and you'll have your M3 in a couple of years...
