My First Detail
These are some pics from my first ever detailing. A detailer buddy taught me how to do it and we worked on it together. We washed, dried, clayed, polished, and waxed it.
It was kind of late when we got down, so I went back to the same place I took pics this morning to get some of the sun really shining off that IB! Let me know what you think.

Yeah, I realize now I went a bit overboard. I just got caught up with how clean it actually was, especially in the sunlight the next day.
Sadly this many pics was "narrowing it down". I'll try and limit myself to 20 next time. But thanks, for the compliments! I've actually shown it to a few of the guys in the BMWCCA and they all want to feel it and then go "Jesus! that's smooth!"

Car looks great Also it must be kind of rare to have an M3 in Iowa. I don't see too many M cars when I visit.

Judging by how many I've seen on the dealer lot here over the last year I'd say there are only 15 to 20 in the whole Des Moines area. I got mine in Feb 09 with 900 miles on it as it was thier demo, which I later learned it was actually the first E9x in Iowa! I've only seen 3 others around here though, white, black, ssII. Actually the black one is M3Mikey's I'm originally from the Quad Cities myself (IL side, not IA thank you) and it sticks out even more there, I say when I'm in town it's probably 1 of like 5 in that whole area.
