Looks like its going to be a transmission rebuild type of week. Also in the assembly lab is a B5 S4 01E for full rebuild!
 The B7 RS4 transmission has been torn down, and the problematic components have been identified, new pieces from Germany now en-route!  This Maserati Quattroporte is in the shop today for a complete Alignment & Corner Balancing service on our Hunter Engineering Company Corporate Hawk Eye Alignment System!   The lab is busy this week, Audi V8 cylinder heads getting torn down and ready for a dip into the hot tank before the fresh rebuild!  It's great seeing the local avid track going PCA members bringing there Porsche's into the shop! This Cayman is in for a few repairs before an up-coming event!   D2 S8 in the shop today for initial inspection after a shredded timing belt! Time to get our digital borescope out and inspect the level of internal damage!  Pair of V6 2.8L Audi heads being torn down for valve replacement for a 3.0L Stroker build for a B5 S4 this AM! . . . with all this work lately in the assembly lab, we may need further outfit the space to increase production!  S Class Mercedes Benz made a visit to the shop today for a spark plug replacement, as well as complimentary vehicle inspection!  After a bit of tear down we found the issue with the Maserati Grand Coupe. Internal bearings to the Torque Tube have ceased to operate smoothly to say the least . . .  |

We're going to start this lovely week off with a bit of advice. When doing any sort of work on shock absorbers, DO NOT involve the use of a "vise-grip" on the shafts. This was a costly mistake by another facility . . .
 The Service Team is cranking out service, repairs, and upgrades already this brisk Monday morning! Starting the day off with this pair of twin B8 Audi 3.0T S4's! Both vehicles are in for a bit of exhaust system work!  HRE Performance Wheels equipped Audi RS5 up on our Hunter Engineering Hawk Eye Alignment rack this morning!  Love the HRE Performance Wheels S101 on the Audi RS5, oh yea and the Sepang caliper color change!  A full APR, LLC. VW Golf R Stage 3 Build has begun this AM. The 2.0T FSI will be receiving APR's GTX Turbocharger Upgrade, APR Front Mount Intercooler, APR Stage 3 Downpipe, APR Low Pressure Fueling Upgrade, APR RFD's, and APR Intake System!  This TTRS is here in the shop with us for transmission repairs. I think we're going to be seeing ALOT of these in the near future.  We have a supremely clean Audi B7 RS4 in the shop today for clutch replacement, as well as carbon cleaning service!  |

The next project in the assembly lab, installation of a complete DSG differential upgrade!
   Looks like the B5 RS4 Conversion is getting its rear end upgraded . . .  After just finishing up a B7 S4 Timing Chain & Cylinder Head Rebuild, the NEXT B7 S4 is in the shop for engine tear down to correct an oil consumption issue.  A look into the other side of the LAB this AM: 2.7T Cylinder head(s) getting new exhaust camshafts, exhaust valves, and hydraulic lifters!   |

TRICK or TREAT Happy Halloween from the Service Team at RSW!
 After a fresh set of Michelin's were Mounted & Road Force Balanced it's time to give this Q5 a complete four wheel alignment! Winter is coming, is your vehicle prepared?  With a complete Cylinder Head rebuild, and full V8 Timing Chain Service, this B7 S4 is ready to go back home!  This extremely clean B5 S4 2.7T Tiptronic is in the shop today to have a new set of downpipes fabricated!  One B7 S4 is ready for pick up while this B7 S4 gets torn down...  Time for some Vanos repairs on this E90 BMW!  Well that escalated quickly. The V8 engine from the B7 S4 has been torn down and the culprit(s) have been identified.  Beautiful B8 S4 in the shop today for a bit of winter preparations. The Service Team is removing the customers "track" brake pad setup, and re-installing a new set of OEM Audi pads. While the vehicle is in the shop we are also preforming a complimentary inspection to ensure no other issues arise over the coming months!  This R Line VW Tiguan is paying us a visit for a complete 4 wheel alignment to ensure proper handling, steering, and tire wear!  A busy shop is a happy shop, and we are thankful to all our amazing customers  This BMW 650i & the BMW 745i are both in the shop today for brake services!   This monster of an Audi, is in for a complete 4.0T Lube, Oil, Filter Service. What most don't know is it is packing an APR Stage 1 ECU Upgrade!  Downloading more HP+ into this B8.5 Audi A4 as we speak!  The 4.2L V8 Equipped A6 is in for a new set of 2 piece Stoptech rotors as well as a complete transmission service!  |

 Next season is going to be fun. New shop car on the way, and our new tow rig has arrived!  The BMW E39 Chassis is essentially a classic, and the Service Team loves having them in the shop!  Putting our Hunter Engineering Revolution Tire Machine to work this AM on this set of 33's! Our Mounting & Balancing Equipment is the best in the business, therefore we are able to offer some of the best tire services in the area!   With the recent cold snap, this BMW 335i is in for coolant system diagnostics!  It's time to squeeze more power from this MINI! Happy Monday! Hope everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving this week! First notice for the week is that we will be closed on Thursday for the Holiday, BUT we will be open (Full Day) on Friday!
The RSW Service Team is cranking already this AM, first up is getting this MINI complete!   Looks like another 4.2L V8 Chain Driven S4 just got dropped off, this one came in many boxes! We now currently have (4) of these engines here at the shop for various levels of repair!  S63 AMG Mercedes Benz in the shop this morning. The owner is getting all of its' service needs completed prior to the impending winter weather coming later this week and the AMG being put away for the winter!   VW CC in for an APR ECU Upgrade, taking advantage before the end of the Fall Sale!  A Brand new M4 is in the shop for the first round of goodies...more on this later.  |

Our first BMW M3/M4 Project has begun. The owner took delivery of the vehicle last week, and without any delay brought the vehicle into the shop for its first round of upgrades.
This Alpine White Fully optioned M4 is a great starting point for what we have planned . . . The RSW Service Team first got to work installing the complete compliment of IND Cosmetic Upgrades. First up are the F8x M3 / M4 Painted Side Vents  Next Gloss Black Front Grill Set  Color Matched Front Reflectors   The owner was also explaining he was experiencing a high speed shake in the M4, the Service Team suggested putting all the 19" BMW OE wheels on our Hunter Road Force Balancer and checking them to ensure they are all within spec. We found 3 of the 4 wheels to be quite out of balance. Back on the M4, and road test later the problem was resolved.   Stay tuned for Round 2, Akrvpovic Full Exhaust System & M Performance goodies are next! |

BMW 335i in for a bit of service work this morning. After a complete inspection the Service Team will be taking care of an Intake Valve Cleaning for the owner!
 With the first Snow Storm of the Season looking to hit Central New Jersey this morning we will be getting vehicles over to their snow tire setups all day!  BMW X3 in for Diagnostics & Repair this afternoon to resolve a leaking water pump and oil filter housing oil leak.  A clean intake valve / chamber makes for a happy motor! This is an in progress picture of the Carbon Cleaning the RSW Service Team is taking care of for a local 335i BMW owner. Before   After  Full Coilover Suspension with Camber plates are the final piece of the puzzle on the Mini Clubman S Build!  Another MINI down from Massachusetts for Direct Port Manic Motorsport ECU Tuning!  VW CC in for APR ECU Upgrade! This BMW E90 Chassis 3 Series is receiving a bit of Service love from its' owner today. All new suspension & brakes are on the menu for the RSW Service Team.  Snow is starting to fall, Winter is here, be prepared. Blizzacks and a fresh 4 wheel vehicle alignment!  |

This particular specimen is from a B7 S4 Sedan. The RSW Service Team currently has FOUR of these jobs currently in different stages.
