Laser Interceptor customer service

Ok guys so this is long over due but I finally got a chance to sit down and share my experience.

I am running a LI quad system that I purchased from cliff and running on a bmw M3. During the install I had little to no idea what I was doing so I gave Cliff@laserInterceptor a call multiple times and without hesitation would help me with whatever issue I was running into, even during dinner! I was amazed to say the least. A few weeks after the install I took my car to get detailed at a local detailing company. When I picked up the car I noticed that my front laser heads had a milky tint on them. After explaining to the owner why this was an issue and his refusal to accept that his guys were responsible for the damage I called Cliff. He immediately tried to help me remedy the situation by suggesting different products to try and clean it off but everything was a bust. After further inspecting the heads the owner, small business man and nice guy, agreed to try and make this right. I called Cliff to see what a new set of LI heads would cost, he was not remotely liable for any of the damage incurred mind you, but without hesitation offered them to me a cost. I thanked him and the owner of the detailing company agreed to make this right, with much hesitation. Shortly after Cliff calls me and tells me that he will comp the LI heads! Blown away. I had new Laser heads within a few days.

Moral of the story, Cliff has incredible business ethics and a over all very nice guy who will go above and way beyond for his customers. All my laser counter measures will be purchased from him in the future oh, and they work, I checked..... a couple of times

And make sure you are careful about what you spray or wipe on your LI heads! The plastic on the front is a very special plastic that allows for protection from water and elements but allows the laser to do its job.

Yeah, Cliff is a straight shooter. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences in my dealings with him.

Would deal with Cliff again in a heartbeat. Hard to find that kind of customer service these days.

He spent 30 minutes answering every newbie question I had in a Cracker Barrel parking lot with a smile on his face - and that was on top of a great price he gave me.

OP I'm curious to hear if you have any experience with other brands like the new K40, escort, valentine, etc.

What may some of the differences in be in this product? Or is this specifically for lidar and not such much for k or Ka bands.

I've seen there products online so I'm just curious. Are these something that you can integrate with an existing product like the k40 RL360i.

Thanks in advance.

LI is purely a laser jammer. Works in addition to your V1, etc.

+1

It is a standalone (fruit) system. I went with a Bel STiR radar setup and the LI laser jammers because I felt that was the best of both worlds. If you are a V1/other non-escort based disciple then you would just run your preferred radar setup and the LI system as well. Two independent systems.

While they rarely go off, I feel they have paid for themselves already in the 6 months I've had them. In one case I was only car within a mile when hidden FHP lasered me and jammers saved me a $300 ticket.

I do not have personal experience with other laser jammers however I am also running a redline radar detector and passport 8500ci built in. I did an extensive amount of research when I purchased the laser interceptor and am convinced it is the best out there for laser jamming. K40 and escort 9500ci are a waste of money for laser jammer, 9500ci radar detector on the other hand is good and I like my 8500ci that is the 9500ci's little brother.

To sum that up. Laser interceptor is specifically for LIDAR, you will need a standalone radar detector for K,Ka, ect bands. And if no other reason than Cliff has some of the best customer I have ever seen I would go with him, he just happens to have the best product. Blinder laser jammers are a close second as far as tests but I have had a few people tell me that they got hit with lasers and it punched through. Hope that helps.

Thanks OP. I have been using K40 on my cars for about 8 years now. Always good to hear someone's personal take on these. I would disagree with the comment though that the K40 is a waste of money. The newest system is phenomenal from what I have experienced. Much better sensitivity in picking up a KA band much farther down the road and from corners. it has saved me and given me plenty of warning well in advance where the older systems weren't quite as responsive.

I also like the concealment aspect of this system. Everything is hidden from view.

I run laser jammers as well. Laser isn't as widely used where I live Boston. However, I have been hit lidar. In a few scenarios where lets say I was driving faster than need be. The system would engage, I slow down and continue driving without incident. However, this product you are mentioning is supposed to amazing so that is why I'm asking.

Thanks again OP. be safe out there.
