Standard 18x10et25 all around. I have 5mm spacers but going to move up to 12mm all around. Thanks!

Are you down here permanently?

Rear passenger side.
Haha yup that was you for sure that I saw!

I'm just visiting family & friends down here for a week and a half, leaving Sunday morning. I quit my job as of 7/16, and starting at a new place 7/30.

My nephew, little guy ~2.5 yrs old loves M3s and fun cars too. He keeps saying "I wanna see uncle's racecar" and makes vroom vroom noises.

Thanks for posting your journey! Any idea how much weight you dropped by removing the carpet?

Awesome thread, lol

How’s the exhaust note now? Thinking about adding bypass pipes to my stock car, but also a young son though he’s rarely in it.

Carpet alone isn't worth it. When I did the carpet though I took out all speakers, the rear deck and seat belt mechanisms, pillar covers, roof lining and control units, etc. then you start adding up 10 pounds here 10 pounds there and so on.

But then I lost my Bluetooth mic, have the crappiest sound system, etc hahah.

I think on your car you'll see significant weight loss if you stripped it, rear, floor, ceiling, door panels, and all that fun stuff!

Stock is not bad but the transmission is noisy without carpet. I thought something broke lol

I'm waiting for a valved option so wen I'm alone I can enjoy the deafening noises by myself.

I'm walking the line of trying to keep my car somewhat enjoyable on the street. I don't intend to remove my door panels and likely not the carpet but I would be open to removing the carpet if the weight loss were significant (50 lbs +/-). With that level of weight loss I wouldn't be against running without carpet and installing some carbon foot pads (like you see in the Schirmer cars). I'm currently at 3390 with full interior, cage and rear seat delete. I would like to get down to 3300.

Yeah I want to put at least something on the floor for aesthetics but haven't had the time to do it yet. Get cf door panels!

Transmission is super loud without carpet. Well everything else is too.
