trim question

I have 13 M3 E93 with the trim as shown in attached picture.

I would like to add trim to the center console but wasn't exactly sure what the right way/the right product is.

Do I have the 'weave leather'? or do I carbon fiber? or are they actually the same?

If I bought something like this, would it match what is show in my car's picture?

http://www.autotecknic.com/product-p/bm-0362.htm

I am only interested in adding something to the center console where the shift knob is.

You have carbon leather. I think there is a 3m carbon fiber vinyl wrap that will match. The link you have is real carbon fiber, not the leather.

I think it might depend on the specific weave of the other piece, as to how well it'd match. Perhaps someone with a bit more knowledge will chime in.

The factory trim is leather carbon fiber.

The link you provided is a complete kit. So it will replace the factory trim pieces with the carbon pieces in the kit.

So you will not have to worry about it matching because they will be replaced.

The pieces in the kit will have a gloss finish since it is carbon fiber with a clear coat applied.

The factory trim is more of a matte finish.

The factory console top is covered in Novillo leather...if you cover it with the vinyl fake carbon fiber and don't like it or the match, you may ruin the console cover that you have now trying to remove the vinyl.

I also don't think anybody has mentioned that OP has an E93, the kit doesn't work for the E93....Looks closely, there is no button for your convertible switch....unless you kit into the trim and fashion one by yourself.

Also, the link is carbon fiber with a clear coat, the trim shown in your picture is just a leather weave to imitate carbon fiber weave. A wrap will look the same, but will not feel the same.
