Finally, I did it. Car electronic and software specialist help this complicated project. It is possible to use aftermarket S/W instead of stock paddle shits, M button, hron and etc. almost all functions of S/W column unit can be moved to aftermarket S/W and buttons. This is not by using resistance, cutting plastic parts and soldering, by electronic module with software that can control CAN bus signal and resistence value with PC I think this module can be used for installing all aftermarket S/W and making custom buttons. video and picture is about testing prototype module. Now we are preparing to make simple plug & play unit based on prototype module. |

You retain m button but can move to aftermarket wheel with open buttons to do what you want with. DCT as well.

Honestly, im looking for cheaper option. I already have my sparco wheel already. Just curious if others had relocated the m button before.

You can get them to make it to your steering wheel you have.
But I have been down this road. It is really the only option if you want it to function as a button. Otherwise you can bridge the pins and get it always be on. But save the $ and hassle and go with the KMP. You get M button and 3 other buttons you can control items with.
