Edc malfunction
Hey Guys,
its my 2nd post on here, and just want to say how amazing of a community you have. The M3 that i bought was previously crashed and was fixed with a new set of shocks, control arms... My question is did they replace it with EDC shocks ? I scanned the car and came up with 00CDB7 code (edc reception status). i also checked the connectors and they are all receiving signal. However when i took of the left front wheel there was 2 connectors hanging one for the brake pad and one for the EDC ( i think ) My question is: Did they replace the shocks with edc ones, and where the hell does this connector go ( pictures ) i couldn't find a side by side of EDC and non EDC to compare. please let me know if you need more pictures Many thanks in advance. EDC connectors are on the top of the shock towers.... plugged directly into the top of the stock/strut

Yes i checked those first but this one was hanging and figured it might be for something else. the connectors are plugged in and receive signal. the previous owner tells me that something needs to be coded as the EDC button doesnt work and the suspensions are stuck in stiffest setting (along with the code). HELP

The connector you are holding in the picture goes to the headlight leveling sensor.
