G-Power Replacement Air Filters

Has anyone else been able to find replacement air filters for the early G-Power kits?
My kit is...just about ready to start middle school, and the last time I cleaned the filters I noticed the rubber flanges were starting to crack.
The cracks aren't all the way thru, yet, but I don't want to wait for that to happen.
I did email G-Power to ask for replacements, but all they would say is "We no longer make that kit."

Thanks,
Chris

Good luck finding a replacement, the filters look like they were custom made for G-POWER.

You can contact K&N to find a custom size that would fit it. But they would need all the dimensions and specifics on the base.

Thanks Gordon,
I had the same idea and I did send K&N this sketch last year, but they weren't able to help, but I can try again.
Hopefully some else has already solved this though.

Installed in 2009. Serial #0041.
Car had maybe 6000miles at install, so something like 53,000mi with the blower.

Would you mind posting some pics of your airbox and filter assembly?

Thanks,
Chris

They couldn't help other than to have me try using their custom filter building program. The program is pretty cool, it basically filters their tooling options using various size requirements.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me, as soon as I entered the 3.5" ID mounting size it would filter out the possibility of choosing the 4.75" major diameter.
K&N has the same program, but no luck there either.
Is anyone aware of other filter companies out there?
Doesn't have be a US company either, I'd be surprised if G-Power sourced these filters outside of Europe?

With that being said, the filters could have possibly been sourced from an overseas (Asia) manufacturer.
I would try to speak to Simota Taiwan, they use to do a lot of OE applications for ARMA and other Carbon Fiber Intake companies.

They are in decent shape for being 11 years old.
The rubber parts are showing some cracking though.
I just wanted to start sourcing replacements before the cracks go all the way thru.

I think you better look for filters in metric sizes. German kit and all. Gl

Thanks again bavarianmotors!

GP Infinitas is where all you G-Power supercharger owners can get your spare parts.
I was able to order the spare air filters for my early revision kit, as well as some new fixed idlers and a Wear Set for the blower pump.

(Kinda crappy on G-Power's part that when I contacted them last year, they didn't mention that I needed to contact GP Infinitas. Just left me hangin.)

G-Power (now ASA compressor) has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I've been trying to get parts from them for months now.
I'll be trying GP Infinitas...
I believe my kit has already been converted to aftermarket filters so I'll take a look and let you know what I have next time I'm in there.

Customer Service has been very good at GP Infinitas so far.
One of the service parts they recommended was "Wear Items" for the blower pump clutch. When I sent them a picture of my engine bay, they pointed out that my blower pump is an early version that doesn't have a clutch, so that saved some money and hassle. The down side of having the early version blower pump is that it sounds like a box of rocks at idle.
The part pricing was reasonable, the shipping was a little spendy though.

HAHAHAHA!!!!
Well played sir, well played!

I wonder if Picasso had had a G-Power blower kit, if it might not have influenced his work?
Perhaps "The Scream" might have looked like something like this?
