Does this sound like a scam? Offer from Craigslist

Here's the recent email I received:

"Hey,
Thanks for your response,i actually would want to have the item mailed
to a PayPal verified address.Postage charges shouldn't be more than $
40.00 USD via USPS Express Mail International (EMS),which i will be
adding to the cost you have listed for the sale of the item.

I need you to ascertain if your PayPal account email address is
... so that i can send funds asap.

Can you please email me with pictures of the item in question and also
let me know what else you have for sale.

If people use big works when inquiring...Usually means its a hoax

The ascertain, what else you have for sale, and reply in regards stick out as red flags to me.

It also seems as if the guy is overseas because he talks about $'s in USD. If you live in the US you almost never write USD after.

Whenever you sell anything on craigslist and request to ship.. majority of the time it is a scam.

Everything I've sold/bought on CL has been local. Met them somewhere, exchanged, that was it. Usually never more than 5 minutes except for this one strange individual who was talking to me about a lot of things unrelated to the product (sold him a Japanese language video game; he didn't speak Japanese and he was asking me about different kinds of cars).

Read it, definitely a scam. I get tons of those when posting ads on Craiglist. Just erase and move on.

When dealing on Craigslist, I only do local transaction with cash. Also meet at a public place, and not in a dark alley somewhere, lol.
