Please recommend your favorite mechanic in/around Seattle; and, someone for minor bum
I've posted a pic because, well posts are better with pictures.
I've got to find a good mechanic. Someone who gives a sh%t about other peoples' cars, and who loves M cars. In short, I'm looking for THE local M3 whisperers. I just bought my e90. 2008 w 23,000 miles. Virtually mint condition. Soon I want to change all the fluids and use it as an opportunity to establish a relationship w a mechanic and his shop. I've also got a minor scrape and two minor license plate bolt indentations from some asshole that bumped me while parking. So, if you know anyone who can touch up a bumper for a reasonable price and do a decent job (does not have to be showroom--its a bumper, and i'm sure it'll get rubbed again), let me know. Thanks for your replies. I really need some good info. DAVE. Last edited by buffstocover; 04-24-2015 at 05:04 PM.. Reason: Posted a Pic |

Cantrell Motorsports in Kirkland. They prep race cars, but installed coilovers on a VW R32 that I had at a reasonable price. Really cool owner, I asked for a corner balance but be didn't charge me because it came out spot on once on the scales.

In for recommendations, too. I just picked up a 2009 e92, and am wanting to find a good independent, preferably in NE Seattle (where the OP's picture was taken).

Dave, for the bumper, my two recommendations are Queen City Auto Rebuild in Redmond (across the street from AchTuning, who also does BMW work) and Haury's on Lake City Way. The guy who owns the later is a BMW CCA member, and very involved in the club locally.

Kd motorsports. Kevin is a very good driver/coach for proformance racing and pro3 champ. Also check out truline bellevue for alignment and tire mounting just down street from kd byron and Pete always very helpful only ones I trust with my car.

BMW of Seattle had it- the owner purchased it there on an ED, but had several other cars, so this one didn't get too much use. Traded it in on another M. I was looking at Z4Ms at the time, and really came upon this one by accident.

I'll go out on a limb to say you'll enjoy this more than a Z4M. Is this the one with like 6k miles posted on the main forum page? I was all about low miles when I purchased my e90 about a month ago. Searched forever until i found an '08 w 22k. Everything about it is like new, except the price. You're in NE Seattle, too? That's great. i hope to see you around! |

These are my recommendations based off personal experience:
Strictly BMW in Bellevue is a good indy shop. Eastside Bavarian in Issaquah is a good indy shop. Haury's in Lake City is a good body shop.

European delivery- pick up your ride at the Welt, get to drive it where it was meant to be driven, and get a discount, to boot!

That's you. Same sig. Super nice car. I'd kill for red leather. The only thing better in my opinion is that old Porsche blue leather. Sweet. I'm sure I'll see you around. I'll bet I'm at UVill 2-3/week for various reasons, and commute back and forth from downtown to several miles north of UV every day. |

In 40-50k combined miles, my M3's have needed oil changed and a diff bolt tightened.

+1 for Kevin Doyle/KD Motorsports. He's the only one I trust with my cars. Nicest, most honest and hardworking guy I know and extremely fair and up front. Can't say enough about him.
