Good Credit Cards?
Does anyone have any good credit cards they just received recently? I am looking into Chase Freedom but the APR is either 13.24 %or %19.24 %. More than likely because of my credit I think theyll give me 19.24 % which seems pretty high.

My car is a lease and its due back in under six months. The only reason that I am contemplating opening another line of credit is to help my credit score.

Getting outta debt sounds like your best option to repair credit, not getting deeper.....

And obviously you're the kind of positive financial decisions. If you're worried about looking bad, you'll look a lot sadder in a 12yr old Lexus than a cheap new kia. Plus considering the maintenance cost differences, it looks like you should be saving your money, not spending it.

I just don't get how people can be comfortable buying something that they do not have the money for. They are basically willing to pay a 20%+ premium for everything when you factor in the apr.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. It's not his fault. It is the credit card company's fault, no?
In all seriousness, I'm with freak.... Just wow...

It reminds me of a joke by Bernie Mac. You know what the best part is about having a Discover card? Spending all that money until the company "discovers" I'm not paying them back.

First of all guys you don't need to make fun of this guy. There is no sense in taking pleasure in someone's misfortunes.
Yes, it seems that he is making HORRIBLE financial decisions but instead of making fun try helping him/her. Opening up another credit card will not help your credit score at all. It will actually lower it if anything because 10% of your score is "new credit" and 15% is "length of credit history". Both of those areas will be negatively effected by opening up another credit card. |
