M3 pulls to the right, help!!!
My car is 6 months old, and since day one it pulls to the right at highway speeds. I've had it aligned twice, swapped the right wheel to the left and the left to the right, and finally replaced all 4 wheels and tires with brand new wheels and tires off another car, and it still pulls to the right. Very annoying to say the least.
Anyone else experience this??? Any idea's on how this is possible??? Thanks

Have you had the dealer check it? It might be subframe related. I can't really think of anything else. Your alignment shop should have noticed if the subframe was damaged though, they wouldn't have been able to align it. Are you sure it's not just the highway is slightly angled and you're car tends to "pull" to the right?

As far as it being the highway, unfortunately it pulls on any piece of highway, regardless of pitch. Neither my 430 or X5 pull on the very same highways.

It's been pulling since day one no matter what the conditions are.

Its a long shot, but could be the electrical steering. If it is aligned and still pulling, it might be the electrical steering "dead zone" or center. Could be off.

Post the alignment specs? Have a different shop align it?
I know this is stupid since you've replaced the wheels and tires, but tire pressure imbalances can cause a pull. But wow, that sucks man. I hate pulls |

Might the fact that it pulls to the right on highways have to do with the convexity of the road? I don't know but i'm picky about pulls too, sorry man!

All that means is that their machine is consistent. Does sound strange. I've got a tire related pull on one of my cars now, but swapping sides and new tires pretty much takes that out of play for you.

"• Servotronic hydraulic steering, M steering gear ratio" Might also check brake drag and wheel bearings. Also I would have a reliable / recommended alignment shop recheck the alignment looking for a cause of the pull..... Using the alignment readings to determine the cause not just doing a "check the toe and let it go" or worse leaving your car in the lot for a "suntan". |

Just go drive around Berkley. Everyone there leans to the left so that should compensate. j/k
It really sounds like an alignment issue. Maybe you should take it to an independent shop to see what they do? Otherwise, if it's not alignment it could be a bigger issue so I hope it's the alignment which is relatively cheap to fix. Cheers.
