And she got some new shoes (BBS CHRs) and an RSS roll bar so she is as sexy as ever.

I bought her from a RL member towards the end of last year and have been enjoying her since then. Had the day off today and spent half the day detailing her and figured I'd share a few pictures. Enjoy. :cheers:

Looks like a 997.2 GT3RS... very nice, but who did the hub conversion for you? I would consider a hub conversion a must for me on any 997.2 GT3/RS.

Yup, a 2011 997.2 GT3RS. The previous seller converted to 5-lugs with ACS bull nose wheel studs. I would have converted it myself if he didn't. The 5-lug hubs are much stout than the CL ones.

What exhaust do you have? I remember it sounded pretty bad ass.

With the 5 lug, you're missing out on carrying that 5 foot torque wrench to the track.

The guys on RL keep calling her Violet so it's grown on me.

It's definitely not the subtle more white car with all the sounds it makes.

Yeah man, that's right...thanks man. I picked up your 2011 M3 about 3 years ago. I sold the car last year in a matter of days to a fellow bimmerpost member when I bought a white 2010 GT3.

Wait until the dust settles with the 991 germlins before buying one, like them catching on fire.

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
