Shops, Meets, Hook-Ups...

What's going on fellas, I'm moving to the L.A. area next month and was looking for a great refferal for a shop, meets, and hook-ups. Just started modding my e92 and knowing that everything I have EVER ordered for my cars has come from Cali, I figured I'd look for some people to point me in the right direction.

I'm really looking for some shops that are fair and won't bend me over when I buy more mods for install.

Also, meets would be great. Best way to get new ideas/hook-up on where deals on parts are, and meet some new people (since I won't know anyone).

Thanks!

The best advice I can give is, call around, price shop and visit the shops that you have in mind and go with the one who will always make you feel the most comfortable.

There are a decent amount of shops here in Southern California.

Be sure to drop by our facility when you are in town, we are located in Anaheim - not too far from LA.

We are primarily M3 oriented, have a dynojet dynometer on-site and most items in stock, ready to install on a moment's notice!

if you want a place that is very focused on the E9x chassis M3, definitely give the boys @ EAS a call. From simple tune ups to Forced Induction track/ show builds, they can do it all. I would know since I enlisted their services for all the reasons mentioned above

LA area is a large area (w/ like 10 million people in Southern California).

Know where you're settling in?

Yeah it all depends where in LA you're moving to. No one in North LA would even consider driving to South LA to buy mods / get stuff put on.

If you're moving to North LA such as Hollywood / Valley then consider Minicorsa. They do all of my installs as well as track tune ups. Owner of the shop has owned/owns atleast 5+ BMW M cars that he tracks and uses. So they know each car extremely well. You can say Philip with the 135i sent you.

That's what I was going to say lol

If you're in OC, you have quite a bunch of shops there.

If you're in the Valley...not as much, but there are some.

Or are you in "Asia" town (Alhambra, Monterey Park etc)

etc etc lol

So quite a big area to cover hah.

I wish it was only 10 million. Its more like 26 million people between LA, OC, Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties....big is almost too small a word.

As asked, where in SoCal?

By the way, I too support EAS and the team. I've heard good things about some of the other shops too, I just don't have any personal experiences with them to share.
