Inside look at the ess vortech blower. I purchased this kit cheap and used. It had a damaged pulley, looks like someone not knowing what they're doing tried to remove the pulley. I'm happy with its guts, looks very good with no turbine damage and bearings are as new. Part of my motivation for checking was the blower dipstick looked like it had a broken end. I couldn't tell if it was normal or missing a piece. So I took it apart to make sure, it was fine, no debris inside. I cleaned it up and painted it wrinkle black, decided against the red. Check out the dipstick. Is it broken? Hard to believe vortech would have left it with the end looking that rough but hard to think what happened to it?

Swapped rear PFC08 pads for some new ones. My rear pads only lasted three more track days than my fronts surprisingly...9 days (8 dry) for fronts and 12 for rears.

Drove it back and forth to Nanaimo from Victoria - in the rain. Managed some good mileage... Down a wee hill

Got the +1L warning - added 1/2L - now full right to the top... Second time that has happened - so I will be changing that sensor.

Love the car on a cruise like that. Too bad there are so many wankers that think the left lane is for driving 91 in a 90 zone...

And Sunday is a show and shine - so I will have to get all the road goo off the beast and shine her up nice and pretty!! Good excuse to try out my new wheel cleaner from Chemical Guys. Hope it works as well as Sonex at a fraction of the price (I have my doubts).

Happy motoring!!

This week: solid subframe bushings and CF driveshaft.

Just awesome...so solid, tight and planted now.

Highly recommended 10/10.

I didn't break it out separately...labor all-in, which included bleeding brakes and alignment, was about $1,300. Not cheap, but definitely a major upgrade.

How much did you get your CF driveshaft for? And how about install?

Seats out vacuuming today, thankful for these manual seats. Full adjustment including bolsters and rake, 22lbs lighter and less complicated.

Do you have any idea how satisfying it is to remove dust and crumbs from 2010?

Ole girl got a coolant flush and her routine 5k mile oil service. Finally took off the 220s and threw on some ZCPs I picked up from a private seller on the forum in Towson and mounted new tires. Take care of her and she'll take care of you right? Can't wait to take her out for a photoshoot!

Whuu for some reason I assumed you are on some hyper expensive uber suspension like the other trackies in CA...I always feel like a pleb with my little KW Clubbies and stock calipers.

There are definitely some guys out here that have suspension and brake setups that cost half as much as the car. I guess a stroker will buy you a decent E9x now too.

Beef, do you have a GTS wing on custom risers? I don’t mind the GTS wing as much as some people but it does bother me that the stock risers look like they position the wing to block out half the rear window.
