Early interest: Going to refinish Black Stoptech ST60
Have a spare ST60 that I am going to refinish with the VHT Super hi-temp caliper paint and clear coat. I am also going to use a satin black on the rotor hats, which will allow you track guys to avoid that purple color the anodized hats turn after a track day. Its about 3 hours per caliper and hat, so Ill probably have them turned around in the next week or so. I will update with some pics of the refinished red ST60/40 on my car. |

I have received a few PM's and want to mention a couple things here:
The pics in this thread are of the brakes currently on my car. The ST60 being refinished is a spare I have boxed up, and am beginning work on tomorrow. I will absolutely finish in the color you choose. Feel free to check out VHT's website, I believe they list 8 options in the caliper lineup that are good to 900 degrees Fahrenheit. If we go that route I would have to insist on a deposit to hold onto just to make sure I dont end up stuck with a pair of calipers done in "real orange" or "bright yellow." Stoptech logos can be done in any of a million colors. My vinyl guy has a ton of colors of high temperature vinyl. |

Sorry to blow up my own post, last thing, I will get some pics of the actual bbk as I go, and will get some measurements in mm of remaining rotor life.

Are you selling calipers here or are you advertising a caliper painting service?

*Let me make this clear, I am in no way a business, and have no intention of doing this refinishing to another bbk after doing mine. |

I repainted mine same color scheme... mine used to be black too and now have them red/black....
excuse my dirty car and bad picture... I was thinking about repainting them yellow/black... not a fan of the bright yellow/ mustard like... anyone knows a good brand that has more rich yellow like with slight orange hue... stoptechs yellow is more like washed out yellow... let me know!

Just an FYI on the VHT paint. I took my car out to the track for 3 20 minute sessions in triple digit heat, and the paint AND high temp stickers held up perfectly. If that isn't trial by fire, I do not know what is.
