Bilstein B16 Damptronic Coilovers
I couldn't handle the jarring ride of the H&R springs anymore so I picked up a set of the Bilstein B16 Damptronic Coilovers for my E92 M3. I opted for the Bilstein's because I wanted to retain the EDC function and have the ability to adjust the height of the car.
I had Malek@MRF perform the installation yesterday. Malek did a top notch job with the install. I'd highly recommend paying him a visit for any future installs or servicing needs if you're in SoCal. I noticed the improvement of the suspension/ride immediately on my drive home from the shop. The Bilstein's do a fantastic job of absorbing the bumps and dips in the roads, unlike the H&R's. You can also feel the difference between the different EDC settings. I never felt that the sport plus mode was tolerable with the H&R springs. The ride was just too rough. The Bilstein's just feel a lot more compliant in every way. Anyways, I thought I'd throw up a quick review since they're aren't too many about the Bilstein's. Hope this helps! |

Glad to hear. How many miles were on the stock dampers when you upgraded?
I've got a set of Bilstein B6 DampTronic shocks in my shochwarehouse.com cart for $1,710 that I'm thinking of pairing with my Swift Spec Rs. Questioning if I could get anything better for the price and if I should go with camber plates or not.

I don't have the exact same pics side by side and the only after shot I have is with my winter wheels. I will do a formal shoot one day... |

Just ordered my Bilstein B6 DampTronics from ECS. They price matched ShockWarehouse and included free shipping. $1,600 and change to my door. I've got 126k on my factory EDC dampers and am quite looking forward to installing these!

That's a great price!
edit: Nevermind... you're talking about B6 not B16.

I have a spare brand new B6 damptronic front left damper I would sell for $350 shipped OBO. Meant to mention this yesterday. Save you some money.

Whats the min drop of this set for EDC vs stock suspension, I run 315s in rear so don't have much space to give up.

This is correct. I have it on my car and I have adjusted in all the way from minimum to maximum. The rear has more adjustability, but the front it's basically 30-50mm drop.
