iDrive Reset

I just picked up a 2011 E92 and want to reset all radio and memory presets, contacts, nav destinations, etc. I've been going mad trying to figure this out and can't find any information on this.

I'd check my owner's manual but dealer had to order me one and won't receive it for several days.

I haven't found a way to do this via the interface, button combinations, or coding. Only thing I know of is rebooting iDrive, but not wiping to defaults.

You need to delete all those entries one by one.

Is there a problem with changing them 1 by 1? When you have a new station, just hold the button until it beeps and it is updated.

Rebooting the iDrive does not erase the presets...

Only thing you can erase all at once are previous destinations.

You can clear everything with factory software but for the end user it's not feasible.

Best way is just to overwrite the settings with your own. And as technic said, resetting the idrive will do nothing for you except waste a minute as it comes back up.
