Fellow M3post Members, Please Help me

Hi,

Long story short, I'm going to be visiting UK for the first time ever in my life because my girlfriend is currently studying @London. I really want to travel to Germany to visit the famous Nurburgring. My question is, what are some of my options.

A quick google search give me these results

There's many circumstances to overcome via either route. Please chime in and provide me some opinions. Much appreciate your help!

Yes.... midweek flights can be very cheap

lol yeah I checked, taking route E40 heading east is like barely 400 miles?

yeah...
thinking o fit though, car rentals (at least in France) are ridiculously high (40-60 eur a day for a regular car), highways in France are tolled, and gas is close to 1.60 Eur / L right now... so it gets expensive...

How bout taking a flight from London to Cologne and then renting a car for a couple days?

how much does flight usually cost during midweek? I got linked into edreams.com, is that a good place to book flight tickets in EU?

Well just as a rough I did a search on Lastminute.com (you could try Expedia.co.uk) for departing Tuesday 13 March and returning Thursday 15 March and it came up with £67.68 return incl tax. The search result was for EasyJet budget airlines so could try their site directly.
