It's beautiful. The bottom duct overlay actually serves a purpose - to smooth airflow from stock duct which has a lip which kicks airflow the wrong way.

The Dinan intake is roughly $1K usd. Even though I like the Eventuri intake, somehow I feel like the filter is too small. But that being said, I don't know much about CFM and intake air volume.
So I guess a smaller cone filter would do the job too. |

There's always the Macht Schnell Stage 2 intake for 1/3 of the price if you still want power without the need for carbon fiber.

If you pay more than $900 retail for a BNIB Dinan, you are doing something wrong. Call Larry Coble at BMW Encinitas if you need one; I think I got mine for $850 from him. Pre-owned Dinans can be had on here for $600-650.
The Eventuri piece looks good if only because of the little foam piece where the tube lays across the edge of the airbox. I've played with a number of different intakes and that area is always a little off from a fitment standpoint. Looks like they addressed that with this design. Also, the more free-flowing duct is a nice touch. |

Very interesting. Wish that air scoop covered the whole thing. Im ocd, that already bothers me lol.
Good job tho guys. Hope the price is right and i don't see why people would turn away from this. I want one.

I agree... I would be one of those who would have paid the extra $$$ for a CF air inlet replacement. The CF air scoop looks nice but doesn't fit aesthetically in the picture IMO.
It would have been nice to have the option to configure between two options during the ordering process --> CF Air scoop or CF Air inlet replacement. M24 developed their own CF air inlet replacement for their own air box. But it probably will never happen because of the extra cost/interest and time to develop it. |

It's only my opinion but I would spend the extra for the CF duct inlet. Eventuri developed an amazing system with no doubt. My only wish would have been the CF Inlet not just a scoop taped on the inlet. But you can't have it all! |
