The Pleiades Leader is now on the Port Hueneme schedule for June 24th.
http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...hedule.pdf.pdf It's scheduled to go through the Panama Canal on the 14th. Last edited by M3TiAg; 06-12-2010 at 02:04 AM.. |

They're doing maintenance on the canal. It normally takes 8 to 10 hours to pass through, but now they are limiting the number of vessels each day. That website seems to say the Pleiades Leader will "transit" on the 16th in the AM.
The Port Hueneme schedule hasn't been updated since the 10th. Maybe they already factored in the delay. As of today (6/15), the ship is scheduled to be in San Diego on the 22nd. http://www.sdmis.org/schedule/ |

The Pleiades Leader is no longer on the Panama Canal schedule, so it probably made it through.
The San Diego port schedule shows that it will unload Audis and VWs on 6/22. The Port Hueneme schedule shows it will arrive on 6/24 with BMWs. The AIS tracking does seem to be supported south of Mexico. Maybe the AIS info will be reliable as it approaches San Diego. I'm sure it's all good. I just hope the air bag sensors and license plate frame issues have been resolved. There were other posts about delays at the VDC. |

My car is on it as well.
My dealer guaranteed that I would get my car this month. Time is running out...

Ordered with South Bay BMW. My CA told me that my car would arrive at the port the 24th this month as well, but I wonder when my car will be ready at my dealership.

Me too!
Came across this post while searching for PLEIADES LEADER. Ordered the 2011 E92 Jerez black/black+Tech+Prem+19Wheels, for Euro delivery in the first week of April. Delivery date in Munich was May 4th. Drove it for a few days and then dropped it off in Vienna on May 7th. I was told by bmw na that the car left Bremerhaven, Germany on May 30th on the vessel PLEIADES LEADER with an estimated arrival in Port Hueneme, CA, on June 24th. Now anxiously waiting for it. The shipping company in Vienna told me that the car will go from Vienna to Salzburg and then to Munich and then to Hamburg. I guess it took them an extra 2-3weeks to bring the car back to Munich. Should have driven it towards north and dropped it off in Hamburg! |

I really hope it's in long beach by the 24th, the marine tracker shows latest info recieved 06/19 when I search for it on google and it's no where near long beach. Ship location shows in Atlantic near Europe. I'm pretty sure it's wrong but still. My sa told me 24th
