New oil report posted

Anyone have any ideas on sodium?

I know I have a valve cover leak, though not much

rockauto rotors have a lot of sodium in them

I thought that was all filtration (driving in lots of road salt lately?)

At 178k miles. Updated thread to reflect replacing the alternator. Came back from 4.5k road trip along the east coast. I'm going to need new rear tires over the summer haha

I met an owner of a carrera gts earlier this year. Guy steps out on a scenic overview with a cigar in hand after letting the whole area know he was driving through with rev matches and such. We start talking, he tells me most people with his car garage queen it and worry about the miles. Him, he plans to run it to enjoy it, had added 50k miles in the first 4 years of ownership. Sounds like you're down the same path. Your maintenance schedule shows how it's meant to be done for us that plan to enjoy these cars. Bravo!

Haha, yeah, I knew I wanted to enjoy the car and get every bit out of it as much as possible. 4+ years of ownership, I put on about 122k miles on it. I looked through some documents the other day and I purchased it in 2014 with 57k miles.

Well, you're going to be waiting forever because I sold the vehicle a few months ago

But I do hope that this thread will be a highly beneficial to current and future owners!

Different lol. I do miss the v8's sound, but no doubt about it that the F80 is a better car. It's also a plus that the MPG is much better too ahah
