Agreed, I would rock them time to time if the tire shop's machine didn't scratched them while removing the tires.

What setup/specs did you go for with your stud conversion - they really help set off those wheels!

I think they make great winter wheels. I have a set that I use in the winter wrapped with winter tires. But after running 359's it definitely takes a hit appearance wise when I switch to 219's.

Definitely one of the nicer wheels BMW has made.

Love the look! I want a square set for the track so badly but too pricey. I have square 359s for the road. Where'd you get those carbon doo-dads on the rear bumper. Don't know what they're called haha.

There was a group buy for the carbon rear pieces a couple months back, nice and subtle

Love that wheel too, almost got a set to alternate with the 359's. 220's were my favorites in the beginning, I prefer the 219's to them nowadays but 359's have moved to #1. BMW designed some nice wheels for the e9x.

The 260M spokes look different, the center is different, the curvature of the spokes is different. The 260M's flatter spokes allows for clearance of larger brakes but the 219M has a deeper concave look. The center is larger on the 260M. The 219M has longer spokes, the spokes have a design to it, spokes widen as it flares out from the center and overall has the appearance of a larger wheel.
Actually, the 260M was only equipped on 18" E9X M3s outside of North America.
219M was the standard "base" wheel throughout the entire run of the E9X M3 in N. America.

It has been said that the 219M was actually designed specifically for the North American market to comply with TPMS regulations, but nobody knows for sure so go figure.

Both the 260M and 219M received Ferric Grey finish until Sept. 2010 production (aka: "2011.5", "September changes") and both were finished in silver afterwards.
The wheels itself did not change with the 2011.5, only the color.

With that said, my 2011.5 came stock with the silver 219M and I really wished BMW stuck with the Ferric Grey finish.

260M was sold here for some MY2013 cars, they ran out of 219M's. The ones sold here were silver only, no gunmetal 219M's sold stateside. Relatively rare because most people buying MY13 went either for the 220M 19" option or were ZCP equipped. Multiple posts on here about it, and I've seen with my own eyes on a dealer lot

I assume you have just correctly chosen to ignore any wheels fitted to a non-E90, because E90's are teh bets evar
