Unusual leather wear pattern - options?

I recently started cleaning the leather in my M3 and noticed an unusual wear pattern on the seats and sides.

Is this something that can be corrected with leather conditioning solutions or permanent?

Hmm, looks like colour is fading? If so Id guess due to too hard cleaner. Yes quite possible to fix using leather colouring + coating kit. Fairly easy and rewarding.

Good luck!

I agree that I would start with Leatherique. It might just be residue from someone using a crappy cleaner or conditioner before selling it.
