After watching the descriptive video over and over like 10 times, I'm increasingly impressed with the design and apparent build quality of this plenum.

It also appears that they fixed the issue plaguing their previous design of the E46 M3 plenum (before Streamline rebranded and changed their name to Haimus)… Where the 3D printed trumpets would disintegrate and plastic bits sucked into the intake/throttle bodies.

The new trumpets are now aluminum, even at the bottom part which snuggly connects to the throttle bodies.

This seems like a brilliant design choice, and even better than the plastic trumpets on the OEM plenum.

Hello all, quick update:

As of right now there's about 17 plenums that need to be completed before our GB's production can begin. Production is expected to begin mid January.

I’m new to the E90 and this group. I didn’t realize I had to make a certain number of posts before I could pm someone. Next time I guess. If anything opens up let me know. Putting together group buys is a tough job.

Welcome to the E9X platform, there may be another GB in the future, though I don't think I should say what it is yet.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully, the production of our batch can start by then as I have a few other parts I'm waiting to install along with this plenum.

Thanks. I just came from a ‘95 E36 M3. Had it for 18 years and had just done a major rejuvenation in December 2018. An idiot making a left hand turn while texting took out the entire drivers side. $14k in damage. Insurance totaled it and screwed some things up that made it cost prohibitive for me to buy it. So I found a package deal and bought a 2011 M3 and a 2012 X3 for my wife. Not what I was looking for but glad it worked out.

Thank you for sharing! I can't wait until I get my hands on the plenum. I've been to Thousand Oaks before a few years back, beautiful city/town

You'll be very happy! I noticed that after some miles, the plenum would "break-in" and almost get a bit louder.

TO is beautiful town, which is why we moved back from the Bay Area.

When you have a moment, it would be very much appreciated to learn more about the dimensions of the Haimus plenum. I just picked up Ultra Racing strut tower bar and it sits slightly above the OEM plenum. I am hoping the Haimus doesn't sit too tall and force me to remove the tower bar. BTW, I reached out to Haimus but have not heard back.

I don't know how I could measure the circumference of the plenum, but I think it is safe to assume that it may not clear. The Haimus is taller around the top outside border and I believe that is where you will have clearance issues.

Thanks for a quick response! I guess I'll wait to hear from Haimus on the spec. Current set-up shows about 5/8" gap at the tallest spot of the plenum which is the center of the dome. Assuming there is a slight play, as long as the Haimus plenum is not more than 1/2" taller than the OEM, I think this will work. If not, I can always look for another strut bar option.

Thanks again!

Wow, it looks notably rounder and taller. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thank you for posting this pic!!!
