DCT ECU does not wake up after the opening a car

Hello guys. Please help me.

Some times ago I get the DCT error about P position (invalid) on the CIC display when I input my key into slot before starting the engine. After 2-5 mins it dissapears and all works perfectly. It happened several times... but today I had the same, but it is not dissapear. My car dead... It starts the engine but I can't drive. I tried several times and after it my engine also can't start. Nothing happens after pushing start button. Only ignition but engine off. I don't see any lights on my dct selector.

I had the next codes when I could start the engine. Tomorrow I will read again and will post here the new error codes.

A0B1 - Input, selector-lever position, implausible
D357 - DSC: No message (gearbox 186)
E094 - GWS: No message from EGS: display gearbox data PT-CAN
E0DB - Autobeam: Message, status, gear K-CAN, 304H or status, reverse gear K_CAN, 3B0H
A73D - JBE: No message(PT-CAN: auxiliary water pump, 37D)

Several errors in DME:
CDB4, CDB8, CD9D, CD9E, CDB0

DSC:
D356, D355, D354, D379, D357

All errors connected with not responding ecu DKG.

Please help... It seems like electric problem... Maybe DCT connector?

hi guys.

Still have this problem...

I have a lot of googling and I have some thoughts.

It seems that there is no wake up for my DKG ecu. When I open my car through my key I could understand, can I drive it now or not. If I see the red light on the DCT selector and P on the dashboard - I can. Else - I can't. It seems that sometimes my DCT can't wake up for some reasons. When I connect the ista to my car when the trouble is appeared I see the my DKG ecu is gray. It is possible that I can drive my car after 10-15 mins (open and close my car several times)...But it is possble that car can't be drived even till tomorrow. So there is some problem with 15WUP or 30g with power supply. Maybe there already was similar problem? How can I solve it?

I don't think I've seen a DCT failure because of leaking, but DCT's leaking is a common problem. Drop the felt cover and have a look. Might be a fail safe thing where all the fluid leaked out over time. The pan itself is very shallow.

Check the connections on the dkg ecu, looks for damaged wires or bad connections. Check your grounds, etc.

I had a similar issue - wakeup/sleep on my f10. As part of the diagnostics the dealer tested the resistance in the wiring(don't recall from which module, but can retrieve the info) but what eventually solved the problem was a software update.

Look at the first fault, input from selector. May be bad GWS. If the Car doesn’t know it’s in park or neutral, it won’t start.

GWS already changed. Nothing...

Found the decription of Ion current combustion monitoring.
Also found on the russian bmw forum that some guy fixed his automatic transmission problem by changing the ignitions coils.

Can it be my problem with dct?

Quote:
If the ignition suppression capacitor is defective, this can lead to faults in the communications and/or audio electronics when the engine is running.
But my problem can be when engine is not running.

Hello guys.

I discussed with the electrician and he told me that it is not a CAN problem. If it is a CAN problem, I would have the problems with several ECUs like DME, DSC, EDC etc... all what uses PT_CAN. He told me to remove my gearbox and see my mechatronik.

Today I took off my dct gearbox. I removed the mechatronic cap and what do I see.

I removed the electric plate cap and there was an oil. Full glass of oil! Why? Should be oil there? Why there is a rubber gasket? Maybe it is a problem? It seems that inside should be airtight, because there are no any holes.

Sorry for my English!

Finally the problem was in mechatronic.

I sold my gearbox without mechatronic to my friend. They used it with his mechatronic.
I bought another full dct, installed it and it solved the problem. Already 15k km with new DCT.

Great that you solved it! Did you ever figure out how the oil got there in the first place Roman?

There is just rubber gasket... so it is obvious that it is a reason. In the new dct I additionally sealed this gasket to be sure that oil will not reach the electric plate.

I'm having exactly the same issue but has not had the chance to take the gearbox out and inspect the electronics. There might be oil in there like Roman's.

It's odd there's not much information on this issue. This is the only topic I found so far.

Does anyone know anything else related to this problem?

Thanks.
