So you mean the blower works now? Mine was pretty quiet too, until it completely failed and I replaced it with a new one.

It worked before, they only replaced the wiring on mine according to the service paperwork I got.

My 2013 is not included in the "blower recall", but something is going on deep inside the dashboard. I hate the idea of dismantling my rattle-free car.
I have the same concern. Last time I took mine in for the fuse box wiring recall, my BT mic stopped working (wiring in same area, and I believe the coding via tuner - since I had it manually added - was wiped out). Does the whole dash have to come out for the blower motor wiring?

I know the blower motor itself and A/C evap are prone to failure - these require dash removal, right? I'm thinking of only addressing this recall if/when one of those fails, so A) it's more worthwhile to tear up my dash and B) presumably save on labor. Thoughts?

Got a notice letter months ago saying there was no fix yet, finally got my "final fix available" letter today. 2010 E92. Haven't called the dealer yet to see if they're on board, but being ATL, I would hope so

the only shit i have complains about is, you want me to come in and drop off my car, but you don't do loaners on fucking recalls? wtf is that.

I'm impressed. I'm in the middle of BFE. Called my dealership and they have all the parts on hand for the airbag recall and the blower motor recall. Told me it would be there for a week and that I could get a loaner in the meantime.

BMW’s recall website indicates that there is no open recall on my car ever though the blower motor wiring has not been touched. The only recalls that have been done are the airbag and battery cable. I thought this recall applied to all E90’s.

I called the service dept and had them run my VIN. It's probably the most up-to-date list.

Going in for the same recalls. They told me it could be done in a day.

My recall was scheduled and then they claimed they needed longer wiring, so they had to reorder that. Finally got done later on though. This was in the summertime.

I just called and they also said that there were no open recalls on my car. I found SI B64 07 17 dated Feb. 2018 and it indicates that the recall includes E90 M3's built from Nov. 2007 to Apr. 2011. My M3 is a Sept. 2011 build date, which seems to explain why there's no recall on it. But for some reason I keep thinking that the recall was expanded to include later production cars.

Got my 2011 oil changed for $180 and did the blower wiring recall and airbag since they had in stock. Took 2 hours they said I had a recall on the positive batter cable too but they didn't have it in stock.

Does doing the recall screw up your coding?
.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I have this recall and the front passenger seat airbag to do. My concern is that the car will come back to me with all kinds of loose panels and rattles. What do you guys think? I’m in stl, mo if you know of a perfect place to take the car to get these recalls corrected.

evap requires dash removal, blower recall only requires glovebox removal at most depending on condition of wires at final stage resistor...
