Cost to get Eventuri Plenum installed?

Hi, friends. Curious how much a fair price would be to get an Eventuri Plenum installed? How many hours would a job like that take? Don't want to take it on myself after watching a few videos...

I can take a plenum off and put it back on in about 15 minutes.

But a shop will probably charge you a full hour of labor…
I suppose if shop rates where you reside are fairly reasonable, it might be worth it if you rather not do it yourself.

Curious as to why you’re finding the need for a shop to install. I understand everyone is different with tools and DIY levels, but the plenum removal and replacement is probably a 1/10.

Either way post pics after it’s installed! The Eventuri piece is great.

Yes, it is quiet easy to DIY. Don't remember the exact time but took me less than 1hr to swap.

OP this is totally a do-able task as a DIY job, and I highly recommend not paying someone else money to do it unless it's one of your buddies.

There really isn't too much of a risk of breaking anything unless you go in there and try to force the thing off. If you take your time and watch a few videos you'll have it off and back on in under an hour tops.

I would DIY it if I were you. If you took it to the shop, they shouldn't charge you more than an hour to do. Taking off the plenum isn't difficult at all.

OP, don't waste a DOLLAR bringing this to a shop. This should be a YouTube video, and 2 beers. First time should take you 45 min. The next time will take you 15.

As others have said, this is a fairly easy DIY. It took me about 90 minutes only because I couldn't get that suction hose at the back of the plenum back on. That was a pain in the a$$. I ended up removing the strut tower braces to allow me to get my hand in there to push the hose back on. If I had to do it again it would take less than an hour.

Definitely should be a 2 hours job if you’ve never done it!
Highly recommend this as a DIY one

Ah, good to know. Thanks ya'll. I thought it was more involved, that, and ran a high risk of breaking a much needed plastic tab or something.

I'd consider ordering a new intake air sensor as they're fragile. Taking it out of the old plenum isn't that bad, but removing from the eventuri if you need to go back without breaking it (on my older revision) is impossible.

I just did it and it was easy for me. I used a 6mm socket pushing the clips inside of the plenum while pulling from the outside.

I just did it yesterday. I think it is pretty easy and the tricky part for me is the crankcase vent hose connector and it was hard for me to click it in place.

Very straight forward process. Just need a long extension and a swivel socket or something similar (to get to the 8 bolts - 4 on each side). Few pics below, and thanks again for all the replies.
