ECS euro bumper
Does anyone have any experience with the ECS euro bumper?
It's cheaper than OEM but I'm worried about fitment. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...9xm3ftrep~ecs/ |

I believe slicer has it and said that fitment was decent aside from one area. I can't recall where though.
Does Aeroplug have perfect fitment? IMO nothing is like OEM fitment. |

Perfect is subjective. Nothing is perfect unless it's OEM and even then there are issues from time to time.

I have the ECS Euro bumper.. Fit is excellent.. I actually wanted to buy the OE BMW Euro bumper but my body shop guy told me the ECS product is very good and OE is not needed unless I wanted to burn money. This is the bumper painted and installed here.. The lines looks perfect to me.

Also, the lines look great per the picture. I'll most likely still go OEM whenever I do it. Right now I'm actually enjoying the reflectors so much that I may just sell my IND paint matched ones. |

tow hook area is definately warped, pretty obvious in the low light picture. in the outdoor natural light its less obvious, but still visible. i come across this issue with alot of aftermarket bumpers.

What is everyone's take on filling the side markers on the North American OE bumper?
OEM fitment, obviously, but are there drawbacks to filling? I'd hate to accidentally hit a parking spot stopper and pop a filling out? I'm not an auto body guy so I just don't know how reliable filling is. I once used Bondo on a car in highschool and needless to say it was a mistake.

Received and did a test fit of the aeroplug bumper today. I was impressed with the overall fitment for an aftermarket piece. I will note that one of the tabs on my top left grill does not clip in all they way, it's off by a hair. Just need to trim the inside a bit. The tow hook cover supplied with the bumper does not sit completely flush. I may see how an oem cover fits. Other than that everything seems perfect so again I'm happy with the overall fitment.

@Shiza thanks for reporting back. I need a front bumper and may end up with this one.

Noticed on the ecs website they have the oem euro bumper and the replica.
Is the genuine BMW oem euro bumper that ECS sells really the same euro bumper that IND sells? Is the only reason the IND version costs more is because they have it in stock where as with ECS it comes at sometime next year? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...118043960~geb/ |

I've seen some horrible aftermarket bumpers out here in socal. IMO this is the area that commonly falls short. This union just looks silly on one side or both sometimes.
