Wheel tech head HELP NEEDED!!

Hey all,
Just wanting to get your input and wisdom on this have a friend selling his VIP modular wheels of a Toyota 86 (stud pattern 5x100) the specs on on the wheels are:19x9.5 +26 offset front
19x10.5 +28 offset rear

Now for the tricky part!!

Do you guys recommend lug adapters?
And if yes how would these sit on a e90 m3?

Only reason I'm considering this, is he selling them cheap and I thought I'd help him out!!

Thanks in advance!!

Don't bother, to be honest. Run something made for the 5x120 bolt pattern and 72.6 hub. Less hassles and less potential headaches.

IF you're really insistent, I did google searched and only found adapters that go from 5x100 to 5x120 - not the other way around. You'd have to custom make a wheel adapter.

I found these on eBay https://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/321771206334

Did a Google search for safety and reviews and I've had mixed reactions! Some ppl say make sure that there installed properly and that make sure the centre bore matches etc!!

If it wasn't for the price of the vip modulars I wouldn't really be thinking about it!!

And if I were to get that adapter with in a 18mm thickness would those offset specs be OK to run or would they pop out of the guards?

Thanks

On stock suspension they may poke out of the front fender a little bit.

Yes definitely make sure you've got the right hub sizes and install them correctly..

Whenever an adapter is being used you are asking for trouble. The E9X M3 is very sensitive to unbalance issues. Not to mention if you ever get a flat and need to take it to a tire store, a lot of stores don't touch cars with spacers and adapters. My vote is to get a wheel made for the E9X cars.
