Hey everyone!
I have been doing some research on what to do about the fueling situation in my m3. Right now I have a tune for 93oct and a tune for full e85. It only takes a a few minutes to flash between the two but honestly it's pretty annoying. And I'm installing a supercharger next week so I wanted to find a better alternative. I was looking at the AFD kit and it seemed like a good idea. It's nothing like the filial Gintani kit that gives you different injectors or pumps, but this kit was designed for you to run a 93oct like map, install the kit, and it adjusts target based on how much ethanol is in the fuel. I liked the idea of never switching maps but the kit was like $1200 and I didn't feel like paying that much. It was then when I ran into this kit. It's made by a company overseas and it's called the "eflexfuel" kit. From what I can see the eflexfuel kit and the AFD kit are very identical. I will be dynoing my car once the supercharger goes on, before I install this kit, and after I install this kit when I add e85 to see if I have any gains. Any input is highly encouraged!

I tried to install this on my E92 M3 like 5 months ago but one of the main harness connecters wasn't responding. Would cause whichever cylinder connected to it to not work. I got frustrated and yanked it off the car since is my daily driver. To the companies credit I never contacted them for a fix.

I have emailed them about a couple things and they message me back almost instantly. I hope I don't have the same problem as you during install though.

Very interesting!! We will continue to pay attention to this thread
It would be nice to do a test in dyno before installing the eFlexFuel kit and afterwards, we would see if just installing the kit without any tune effect on the motor

Hardest part is getting to the rear most injector plugs and cleaning up all the wiring/fuel lines. |
