Help with Coolant Leak (I think)

the first two pictures are what I saw on my garage floor today. The last picture is one I snagged online and I circled the hose that I see coolant (some dried whitish, some blue).. was wondering if any of you smart gents could help me identify the hose and provide any input on what (if anything) I can DIY for this, and secondly, is it safe to drive a day or so, and then 30 miles to my shop when they have an opening? No dash warning lights thus far...

SOLVED. Thank you all for all if the input. very helpful and per usual, I received the correct input from people here. It was the Windshield fluid reservoir. Took it into the shop, and we filled it with water and sure enough it stated pouring out if the wheel well area. Needless to say, I am very happy it wasn't coolant... thanks again

I've replaced hundreds of those
Always leaks at the T-stat housing side
Takes maybe 20 seconds max to change

Expansion tank to thermostat housing line when looking for it

But, I've never seen that line leak that much coolant out
That line might be seeping, but make sure your water pump isn't leaking aswell

great news, thank you! if you have a second to post a part # and maybe any DIY instructions/info that you know of it would be greatly appreciated! Is it safe to drive for a few days if I can't get a part in soon?

Check for more serious leaks at the same time
Cuz that's a lot of fluid

And as far as changing that line, get a little pick , and pull that metal clip forward, then pull the line off
Really simple

Damn... yeah I assumed that was the line leaking bc I noticed it a week or so ago seeping out. So this coolant on the floor is brand new to me, and it's a lot. Since I don't have a leak and don't know where to look for other leaks, I guess I should get it checked out on Monday. Do you think it's safe to drive 30 miles on Monday to the shop? Now I'm terrified to drive the thing with this and also newly leaking valve covers. FML..

thanks for the posts helping me, really appreciate it

Ok now that it's cooled down from a short drive, I gave it a check... first I noticed now it's dripping from just behind the right front tire (see below).. then I checked that hose that still shows some minor seeping... but lastly I checked the Coolant reservoir and when I opened it the little dipstick shot to the top, it's completely full to the top. I got an oil change last week, where they noted the leak in the coolant line, but had to order the part, is there a chance they overfilled? would that potentially be this leak?

I don't know my blue from Green here, but is this potentially not coolant?

I had a leak like that and it was my windshield fluid lol. The windshield fluid tank is on the passenger side front fender. Noticed fluid leaking at a gas station and scared me a bit but the car ran fine.

That looks like washer fluid to me. I've never seen blue colored coolant before, but I could be wrong.

Prob washer fluid pump leak, very common. Smell it or taste it (tiny amount like the end of a toothpick then rinse with water and spit it out) and you will know if coolant or washer fluid.

Coolant tastes sweet and smells sweet. Think maple syrup. Washer fluid is water and methanol so basically alcohol so you know what that should taste/ smell like.

Our coolant is blue to guys

It's a coolant leak
The reason you see it behind the wheel is becuz it's running off the lower cover

That line looks to be leaking bad

but.... the reservoir is overflowingly full. Like it's to the top.. I just went and looked.. the liquid had no smell. Very watery and no smell. I then looked in the washer tank and couldn't reach down far enough to try to suck up some fluid, but the cap showed blue color washer fluid. (see stains at top of cap). Let's hope it's washer fluid tank... but I am not positive.

Washer fluid taste like soap

And just cuz the coolant needle is at the top, doesn't mean you aren't loosing coolant .
You would have to lose a lot for it to go down

Washer fluid wouldn't run from the front , down the scrape shield to the back

But report back when you know more
