Hey ABC do you have mods listed? I’m with Shannon’s too but it’s up around $175p/m insured for 42 🤔

Hi Rex, I only have axle back exhaust and wheels listed as mods.
Maybe it's because of my location. I'm in Port Macquarie.

Finally got insurance that values the car at $40k

Shannons and Enthusiast wouldn't insure me as I don't have a locked garage, only a carport and locked driveway.

Each to their own, but trust you have done some defensive driving courses or come from a motorsport background. Just a view but you appear to lack respect of how quick a bmw e9x m3 is compared to a out of the box wrx or xr6 turbo. To answer your question do some grade six maths on power to weight calculations. There is a reason why you can hit 0 to 100km in circa 4.2 seconds in an m3. I have a few more grey hairs than you and probably a lot more seat time that you behind a wheel of a car or a e9x m3. I owned a last century wrx for more than half your life.
Chalk and cheese compared to a e9x m3 . I have that little hoon bastard inside that needs feeding/ tempering, but I appear to have much more respect than you on what the m3 is capable of doing particularly with traction off. I am not surprised they are banned in some states and you are struggling to get insurance. I recall the 18 year old who got a new Ferrari in the morning and tragically he and the Ferrari didn't see it past the afternoon and both were incinerated right in the middle of Perth. A e9x m3 is easy power and easy to drive but easily leads you into a false sense of security in the hands of the inexperienced. Insurers consider you from a risk perspective in that car as having an extremely high risk of having an accident and making a claim. Hence bad business and a waste of time taking a few grand off you and having a high probabilty of having to payout multiples of that premium out in a claim you are likely to make based on their experience and statistical modelling before next years premium is due

Get a quote from Enthusiast Motor Insurance if weekender. Over $50k for $1200, 5000kms annually
I did that recently and nearly double what I was paying and was quoted 2.5 times your price. Ps I'm not 18 either.

Ah fair enough, I have quite a few listed I guess, it almost seemed to add 200 per item when I updated them last.
