Drives: No BMW for now

Guess my memory may have failed me. My service wasn't performed until 1300+ miles and while I could get the flag icon before that, my recollection is that it would not actually rev the engine when I hit the gas. That is, until after I got my service. I recall others saying they could not even get the flag icon before the service.

BMW engineers didn't write the book wrong. They wrote it in German and it was translated in a rather imprecise manner.
