100K +miles on DCT

My car just hit 100k miles , should i worry about the DCT clutches ? Car is running strong , everything feels like as it should be.

Had 150K on my e36 m3/4/5 and really happy to see this thread as I search for a replacement.

Are you folks doing anything out of the ordinary maintenance wise to happily see these miles?

Did you ever do any performance software upgrades on your DCT or is it 100% OEM?

I'd pull off the cover and check for evidence of leaks. Other than that, congrats, I hope to reach that number some day.

So because one guy has 150K on his, means OP has nothing to worry about? lol

Its the luck of the draw I would say, change your fluid, watch for leaks, pray. That's about all you can do.

I just sold a 330ci with 250,000 miles. I kept an e36 325i until 190k miles, and an E21 320i that I kept until 225k miles. High mileage bimmers aren't a mystery to me.

Just drive them and maintain them and the mileage becomes irrelevant.
