I wouldn't be surprised if someone did it on purpose too. It's New York. Now is the insurance obligated to give you paint and on top of that a new wrap?

Ok...update. Usually, detectives will let a hit & run like this sit around, but I got lucky and my guy actually found the person.

She was on "assigned risk" insurance...and, definitely proved that.

So, we tracked her down, found out all of the info, and her insurance company is taking care of it.

JUSTICE.

In the mean time, I've been keeping busy with this project:

I hope she gets criminal charges and license revoked for many many years.

Yeah, I rarely take it out unless I'm actually going somewhere car specific, but I hadn't driven it in almost a month...and it was my damn birthday!

Yessss!!! Posting because I saw your update. Glad justice is coming and that karma is still a bitch lol.

Always loved your build and the VW as well. Let us know when she is all good to go again. Will you take this opportunity to change the theme again? New color or something perhaps?

Sorry to see man. Seems like you're in a better mental state (i.e. not raging) to handle this than many of us though, so cheers to that and happy belated!

Ouch, that hurts. A similar thing happened to my son's car last week when it was parked in front of my house. But . . . the person left a note. So unicorns do exist.

I tried to get him interested in an E92 M3, but he's fallen in love with a Ford
Fiesta ST, and I can't really argue with that choice.
