Shift lights not coming on

So Ive read several posts on this but i purchased my 2011 e90 ZCP last year and for the first time had it in M mode with the shift lights enabled in the menu and revved up to 7k but saw no light activity.

The other thing is that I also have Alex's alpine engine and dct tune, with this tune, ive noticed the auto start feature is disabled, and that the shift logic setting always defaults to position 2 unlike the oem software which leaves it at the last user setting. I cant tell if the Alpine tune is causing this or something underlying.

Thanks for the help.

Go to Settings > M Drive > Shift Lights On
Alternatively if you're not in M Drive and want the lights still
Go to Settings > M Drive > Press Options > Select whatever

The second one I don't remember if you need to click on M Drive or just press options over top of it.

Anyways, GTS DCT starts with D2 always but remembers your manual shift settings so as soon as you hit the paddles whatever shift setting you had it to will be applied.

Auto Start/Stop is a feature a lot of people get coded out anyways but idk about that.

So the lights do not correspond to the tackometer. Its just the yellow and red area of the tack. So yellow lights come on once the needle actually goes into yellow. Hope that makes sense.

Like 7800-8300 — does anyone know the actual rpm her light, probably 100 rpm starting at 7500 then three red?
