Who has the highest mileage E9X M3 here? Share your story
When did you buy? What mileage did you buy it at? What mileage is it at now? What has been replaced? Was it broken or replaced as preventative measure? Do you plan on selling any time soon?

Not the highest mileage but...
I have a 2011 E93 with 100.8k miles on the dial... hmmmm... What has been replaced... damn near everything... I own the murphy's law BMW M3 if there is any... well sort of... I bought the car with 40k miles in May/June 2014... PPI done on the car, everything checks out drive the car from Camarillo to La Jolla, amazing drive minus the saturday traffic on the 5 south... About a week in, TPMS replaced replaced under warranty.... no biggie... About a month in, motor pissing oil on driveway, BMW says main bearing and/or rod bearings failure, motor replaced under warranty... (on last day of BMW yr/50k warranty. whew...) About a year in, defective fuel vent valve, replaced... About two years in TBA's/hall sensors no good no more... replaced... About three years in battery replaced Other than those items up there... Airbag recall done... Battery Cable recall done... Blower fan recall pending... I've done all required maintenance at above BMW specs... with the exception of spark plugs... I changed them out about 10k miles past the recommended interval... I DD the car so engine oil gets changed every 5-7.5kmiles... all other fluids get changed out to near change specs but never overdue... Oh... One parking lot accident... my car was parked and car next to me reversed out without looking where the front of their car was moving to... left a nice scrape along the pass side door and rear qtr panel and damaged rear rim... damage didn't look too bad... but cost near 8k to fix. (perp left phone number... surprised...) last and still waiting for the last bit of damage to get repaired, caught in a hailstorm driving cross the country from San Diego to Toronto... Car looked like a golfball when the storm was done. All aluminum body panels have been replaced... still waiting on a shop to fix and replace the convertible top panels. Cost to fix the and replace body, pdr on areas where they could fix and paint and all that came up to 10k... just got a quote on the replacement of the rear convertible plate and the three piece top, rail caps + paint another 7.5k... It's almost new again... but other than that... the car has been a treat to own and drive... pays to play... and I love to play!!! Keeping this one. No plans to ever sell.

I’m sure there is someone higher on here but bought the car in August of 2015 with 98k on it. Sitting at 154k right now. The only thing that’s needed to be replaced is one throttle actuator. Finally bought another daily driver so now it just sits in the garage most of the time. Never plan on selling

OP, believe this mainly include 2008s but may still be interesting additional reading: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=682601

I have a 2010 E90 that I got the day of my graduation, still bone stock. I'm the first owner of it and I'm sitting at a good 113k miles. Been my daily driver for 7 Years and never planning on selling it. Haven't had any problems with it outside of routine maintenance and a shift lever malfunction. Going to run it till the engine is done and then rebuild and do it all over again.

I'll play:
Just bought it last month. 2012 E93 just under 75k miles. - Replaced both valve covers due to leaking and seepage - rear diff fluid change due to chattering at low speeds - new battery - new rear brakes Previous owner was meticulous about service but it still needed about $3k worth of work right off the bat. Definitely recommend a thorough inspection to anyone thinking about a high mileage E9x. These cars are fickle, even with a good service history.

There's already a few threads on this topic... people with under 100k really shouldn't be posting.

Wow interesting stories. Other than rod bearings and leaky gaskets I don't see anyone's engine blowing up so that's good. I'm on the fence about selling my LCI 328i for a higher mileage E92 M3. (75k to 95k range). I'm skipping the 335i because it's essentially the same as my current car but with more power. Car handles identically. I have zero interest in an E9X 335i. I dream about the M3 in my sleep lol.
