my job might be relocated to ATL near Perimeter Mall March/April.

what condos do you recommend for a single late 20s male?
any particular areas to look out for?

I live really close to there. There aren't any really great condo complexes right around that area. You can find a couple, but they aren't going to have the excitement that a Buckhead is Midtown complex is going to have. Whether that is worth the commute is up to you. More than happy to talk more over DM if you'd like to know more specifics.

Lived and worked arepound that area as well. Still work there.

Feels like all the traffic in Atlanta goes in and out of that area. Drove me crazy.

I would rent for a year in the area to figure out where you want it live.

Traffic will make the rules of your life in Atlanta. Consider it closely before a final decision.

there is a marta stop right at perimeter. If you are close enough on both ends to utilize it, that would help out on allot of the driving.

But, a 10 min walk in the spring with the rain, or summer with the humidity makes 10 min feel like 1 hour.

True the Marta stop would make it possible to live in a more entertaining part of town and commute to your job there.
