A while back "HammerM3" was having problems with his M-DCT Paddle Shifters and needed them reversed because of his handicap. He wasn't able to downshift fluently without a major hassle. Nothing was being done about it so I decided to contact BMW of North America via PM to see what they could do. About a week or so later I recieved a notice saying:

So I checked the mail today to find a decent sized package, a nicely written letter and inside the package was a model 5-series to boot. Here's some pics (taken with my blackberry). Even though it doesnt have the AeroKit on it, it still kicks ass

. I've got to say it was a hell of a gesture from BMW and I couldn't be happier with them. And I hope by now "HammerM3" has gotten his situation straightened out. And thank you BMWNA!

The details they put into the model are UNREAL, the trunk is even felt-like material. . .it's just a model but they pulled it off well.

And yes an M3 model would be SICK.

What you did was generous. I think it's fully-deserved. I wanted to buy one in Germany but they're way too overpriced.

Don't remember the specifics, but I do remember that it was more than any model car should cost hahaha.

AND they had my EXACT car with the same color combo inside and out. It had to be overpriced by a lot in order for me to have resisted the urge.

i saw an m3 model car in red at my dealership. It was priced at $174.50! lol just didnt seem right spending that much on a model car considering i bought a whole crap load of car cleaning supplies at half the cost.
