Passed NY Emissions inspection with no primary cats
So i have a 2011 E92 M3 Comp with a ESS Tune and Test pipes, "primary cats" deleted Secondary cats still on. So after years of taking my exhaust down and putting the stock exhaust back on to try and pass inspection I decided to try something different, a friend of mine who has performance shop said let's try putting in "Mini Cats" in, I didn't think this would work but i said lets give it a try. So many people with the Primary Cats deleted on these cars have tried passing inspection and have failed inspection. But this setup worked. Stock tune, Primary Cats still deleted, "Mini Cats" installed, passed inspection Here's some photo's of the setup

Mini cat's can sometimes work but don't rely on them to pass every time. Just some food for thought. the 45 degree might offer more space between the heat shield & test pipe so the 02 sensor wiring can be maneuvered better.
