Right, but why not just buy a new set of TPMS for the new wheels? Does it really make sense to dismount/mount the tires to get the TPMS out, and make the next guy do the same thing to add the TPMS back in?

You do not need to dismount tires from the wheels to install/remove TPMS sensors at all.

You only need to pop the bead and move the tire over 3 inches.

That may be true, but that is still a fair amount of work, plus it requires a rebalance...I just don't get why people pull out the TPMS.

Maybe it's the persons choice?

Secondly, TPMS sensors are not cheap, its wise to keep your own, especially if you have the earlier TPMS sensors.

Sorry, I bought these from the OP a few weeks ago. The wheels/tires were in great shape, and J335Red was a cool guy.

I also bought his spacers, which were a great deal. Thanks J335Red for not ripping me off on those
