Where to get oil?
Just bought a used M3. When I was in the local dealership a few months ago I believe they were charging 20$ a quart. Some places in the US are selling it for 11$ but with shipping and other charges the price to Canada would likely be the same. Is there any way for us Canadians to get a deal on oil?

You can only get it at dealerships and I bought a quart once and I did not pay $20 for it, it was more like $14 with the taxes.

REVIVING this old thread! Any consensus on a good source for oil in Canada. I was quoted $20 for a quart today. I'd take $12 a quart that americans are charged anyday.

I pay $16 a quart at the stealership in Toronto. I thought the prices were uniform across the country???? And to answer the question, no, no one carries 10w60 viscosity oil other than the stealership. I think Redline also makes 10w60 oil, not sure. But even if they do you still have to order it online anyway, so you might as well get the Castrol BMW stuff.

Redline does make 10W60, and there are a few places around that stock it. I bought it once - can't remember where right now, but it was around $13/litre.

Call around to various parts places. Lubri/Lubro Moly makes a 10W60 for our cars. (can't recall what I paid, but it was certainly less than the $20/L from the dealership)

I go to a local store in Markham to purchase my 10W60 oil. Its the brand Liqui Moly that seems to be quite popular with other M car owners as well. Costs about $14/L and the store sells it in jugs of 5L only.

Been about a year since this has been discussed. Getting ready to change my oil... Any new places that carry the 10W60 oil nowadays? Online maybe?
