Would rear OEM wheels fit up front?

I was just wondering If anyone has tried running the oem 18 inch rear wheels in the front. I'm askin because I was thinking about buying a set and using it as a square track setup.

it'll stick out about 19mm though

They will fit pretty easily. We have done a similar size (aftermarket) with a 275/35-18 up front. You could run the same size on all 4 corners pretty easily. The oem 265/40-18 MIGHT fit, but I've never seen it done.

I meant as far as offset is conscerned.

I've been running a square set-up on the street since I bought the car. OEM 18 x 9.5 with 265/40-18 look good in front. The stock tires are too wide and tall to clear the inner fender, however. I've actually rubbed a hole in the liner.

If you are using this for a track set-up, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

So you only rub when you turn?

Are you running any springs?

They hit the fender liner (by the footwell) at full lock and less.

275/35/18 should work just fine on the other hand.

The OEM 18 inch rear will DEFINITELY rub the fender liner. I wouldn't recommend it.

If my math is correct, the OEM rear would be 18.7 outboard of the OEM front and 6.7 inboard of the OEM front. I recall that some people have used 18 spacers on the front for a very aggressive fitment. As others have said, tire size will be your issue.

I read Joe's advice and double proved that the OE Rears on the front do interfere with the rearmost portion of the fender liners.

Joe once mentioned that he may switch to a 255/40/18 front to minimize interference, but I don't think I ever found out if this worked well or not.

With the right size tires they will fit! i run 9.5X19 ET 24 up front with zero rubbing.

Joe isn't lying. Those 265/40/18's look big up front on OEM 18"s and there was rubbing close to wheel lock, but there weren't issues driving around town.

Both OEM wheels will fit up front, but with the OEM tires they will both rub the fender liners. If you are okay with this then go for it.

19 x 9.5 ET27 with General UHP 275/30 tires do not rub, and there's enough fender clearance left for an extra 5mm spacer, so either OEM 18" and 19" rear wheels should fit as well.

The issue seems to be the tires, as not necessarily all same size tires from different brands are the same exact width or height, and sometimes just 5mm either way is all it takes to rub.
