Question about BMW leather care kit

well i know this is basically a leather conditioner. I heard its pretty good. My car has 3k miles on it right now and i cleaned my leather just like i do every time i wash my car. My ? is, is the BMW stuff any good? Should i apply it now or wait a little longer? How often should i apply it?

It's okay. It's not leatherique but it's not bad, either. I use it once every couple of weeks.

Depending on how much you drive and your climate, once a month or quarter is a good cycle. It is pretty mild and a good general purpose maintenance product. Leatherique and the like are much better at thorough cleaning, conditioning and restoration.

Good info. Ive been looking at some Swissvax stuff myself. Although it seems there are some good options for the leather treatment that wont cost as much as them, this Leather Master stuff is supposed to be top-notch

i actually like the look of the untreated side of the picture on detailers domain. anyways the bmw kit seems ok, dont really know how you are supposed to compare the differences unless the leather is old and worn out, but when it's new i have no idea how ppl are making comparisons. the bmw kit smells bad to me when i apply it but that goes away quickly.

I wouldn't say it smells like poop, but it does have a distinct "raw" leather smell to it. It's not as bad as others say it is.
