Exhaust comparison poll
Hello I am a new frozen white E92 M3 owner and am curious on other's opinions on the Meisterschaft GT2 VS Meisterschaft GT2 with track pipes(primary cat delete) VS Remus Race with track pipes(primary cat delete). Is there any difference in sound with the titanium VS the stainless steel for the Meisterschaft? All input is appreciated, thanks for voting!

I run the GT2 titanium with stock cats in place and it sounds the best out of any exhaust I've heard thus far, but it can be a bit loud for some folks. Removing the primary cats makes the exhaust sound a lot more unruly and chaotic in my opinion and loses the uniqueness.

I'm running Remus race with test pipes and gutted secondary cats.
Has a little rasp but it literally sounds like a 458 when you get on it. You'd have to be crazy not to run test pipes/catless with a good sounding rear section. Smell isn't bad at all |

Are you running a tune or something similar to get rid of the check engine light from going catless? Thanks for the input guys!

I've not heard the SS version of it, but I assume it will be even deeper in tone. I really dig the sound and weight savings of Titanium however.

Remus race with test pipes is probably the way to go, and if you want more just do a secondary cat delete. I'm hoping to get some sound clips soon so I'll let you know when I record them. |

Oh okay, it would be awsome to hear both of these in person. Thanks for your input. I think im narrowing it down to the SS version or Remus Race with test pipes.

SS is usually a deeper more American V8 type of sound, the lighter steels get more of a higher pitch/exotic sound.

In the words of Donald J. Trump "believe me" OP, you want test pipes/X-pipe. Most noticeable bolt on power and finally lets that high-winding engine purr.
Don't limit yourself to an exhaust that doesn't sound good with test pipes. I'm 100% biased, check out Corsas + X-pipe. You'll think it's a Maserati making those noises. Take your time, researching exhausts has been the most fun mod research I've done yet. Most subjective and so many options.

I have a gt2 with Dinan mid pipe now but previously had test pipes with GT2 and I preferred the sound of the latter. For some reason it sounded better but my current set up sounds great too.

Got any videos of either of those setups by chance?
