Is anyone familiar with this car/listing?

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a used M3 - preferably next Spring, but this came up for sale that has what I'm looking for (sunroof + DCT - rare combo) in the colour I'm looking for both interior and exterior. I'd rather be a 2011 model because of the warranty changes.

I'm a little wary since it seems like this car was listed before a few months ago at $53,750, now its been a few months and its dropped to $45,000. Any red flags?

What do you think? Any tips and suggestions would be helpful. What to look for in a test drive? If I proceed further, I would like to take it into a dealership to have them inspect it (anyone know what the fee would be?) - especially to find out how many times its had its Launch Control activated.

Looks like it has SMG instead of dct

I know it says SMG in the listing, but aren't all e92 M3 DCT (I just thought it was a mistake)? I thought only e46 M3 had SMG - weren't DCT introduced for e92?

Not sure, just read what the ad said. I've been looking to upgrade to an m3 as well and ignored the ones having smg. Gonna check them out again.

Their all DCT. Just a mistake on the owners part.
